Experience of a Lifetime!

From little gumnuts mighty Eucalypts grow!

As a Rotary Exchange student you will spend up to one year living as a full-time student in a foreign country [Europe, North America or Asia], immersing yourself in a new culture and its language. A fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself!

Rotary Youth Exchange is registered with State and Territory Education Authorities to provide Secondary Student Exchange Programs. Each year thousands of young people worldwide are given an opportunity to experience the cultures and accomplishments of people in other countries.

During your exchange, you will grow considerably in self-confidence, tolerance and self-reliance. You'll also learn to accept greater responsibility in your everyday life.

For example:

Sara Ranghieri RCWM Exchange Student from Italy arrived 0n the 28th July 2017 and was met by an enthusiastic group of Rotarians from the Club and District. During her stay Sara met lots of Aussies, attended Moreton Bay College and experienced our culture for 12 months. Sara was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Torino Nord-Ovest in Italy.

Years earlier, Matthew Macdonald spent a Rotary exchange year in Japan finished by speaking the language fluently and then went to live a few years later in China where he also learned Mandarin (the national language of China). He now works in Brisbane as a stockbroker with special knowledge of Asian financial markets and is an active Rotarian.
