Over 200 hamper cartons filled in under an hour - what a team!Volunteers at Silky Oaks Children's Haven today were from Rotary Club ofWynnum and Manly\, St. Peter's Anglican Church and Silky Oaks. The Rotarygroup included Liz Tighe\, Chris Reynolds and Vivien Coulson\, Tony Fox and 3grandchildren\, Ken and Elaine Evans.
&nbsp\;
For several years now we have helped local charity Silky Oaks Children's Haven with packing of Christmas hampers for disadvantaged youth.
It is hard to believe that we are at this time of year again and Silky Oaks is poised again to distribute the Hampers of Hope to those in our community who are facing difficulty or challenge.
We are looking for volunteers to help pack bags.&nbsp\;If you are available to assist with the hamper packing this year please advise davetighe@live.com.au or 0412 002 704 (or you can just turn up).&nbsp\;The details are:
