$10,000 to Drought Relief

Our club donated $10,000 to drought relief for southern Queensland on 23 November at our 65th birthday celebration dinner. 100% of the money will go to rural communities through our district's tailored drought relief program.

 2018 Primary Schools Public Speaking Competition

The 2018 Primary Schools Public Speaking Competition for the Wynnum, Manly, Lota, Tingalpa, Belmont, Hemmant, Wakerley areas culminated in and ward ceremony on 31 October. Thank you to the "Beachfront Runners" for sponsoring the Encouragement Award with $100, presented by David Brekinsale.
